TheCFD for Killian!
The Columbia Fire Department partnered with Curing Kids Cancer for the first Fire Truck Pull in 2014. We are no celebrating four years of success in raising funds to honor and celebrate the life of Killian Owen whose parents founded Curing Kids Cancer after Killian lost his battle against Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia in 2003 at the age of nine.
The Columbia Fire Department is honored each year to pull in memory of Killian and to assist in raising funds for innovative treatments and research such as the endowment for a new pediatric oncologist position at Palmetto Health Children's Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. This will allow the Center to provide new drugs to patients treated in the South Carolina Center.
So please help TheCFD not only meet our goal but surpass it!
